It is common that we all share one health problem when it comes to weather changing, which is oral thrush. Initially, oral thrush is not really big a deal when all you have to put up with is the itchiness and dry throat. This health issue is normally referred as an infection that is triggered by Candida or people might call it oral candidiasis. Once this infection happens, it is understandable that there might be lesions developed on the membranes within your mouth (depends on the seriousness of oral thrush). They are also described as the white or creamy colour deposits found on the tongue or inner cheeks.

Scientifically, as mentioned above, oral thrush is triggered by a special fungus named Candida. This fungus should not be overlooked as it might strike any part of the body namely digestive system, skin, and the most frequent place it might visit is the mouth. It is also proven that there are up to 75% people who might suffer from this health issue.
There are a lot of factors around us that lead to oral thrush and we can easily become infected. The most common one is albicans fungus appearing when there is a sudden change of weather. Besides, it is the weak immune system that cannot be the shield to protect your body from infected virus. However, that’s not the end of the story as there are some other activities you might do unknowingly which add up to the seriousness of oral thrush. Other factors can be constantly drinking cold water or even leaving your throat exposed to the harsh weather such as windy or rainy. Moreover, some people might have might fever and keep it so without treating and eventually, it might get worse and inflames your throat.
What are the symptoms of Oral Thrush?
The most noticeable symptoms of oral thrush would the white spots, appearing around your mouths. Those spots will eventually join together to become bigger which can be known as plaques. People call it white spots but it does not necessarily mean that they have white color, they can also be yellow or light brown.
As it might get worse, those spots will make your throat feel sore and turns red, which is absolutely annoying. After few days, you will probably find it incredibly hard to chew or drink, even with water and it makes eating/drinking becomesuch torturous activities, literally.
For those who wear denture, it is possible that people might develop the persistent redness under the denture.
The worst scenario can happen to people with sore throat or oral throat is that the inflammation will spread to other areas such as outside the mouth where the upper lips meet lower lips.
