Holla makeup lovers!
Do you guys love foundation? If you do, like me, then you must have tried this foundation or at least have heard about it. I am talking about the oh! so famous Maybelline Fit Me foundation in the shade 310 or Sun Beige. This brand and the product speaks for itself and we don’t need much of an introduction for this baby. Since the time it was launched in India, this has created a storm in the affordable makeup industry. I know I am quite late in purchasing this product but now when I have it, I am too excited to review it. So without further making this intro long, let’s review Maybelline Fit Me foundation Sun Beige 310.
What Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Sun Beige 310 claims:
According to the brand.” Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation face make-up. Mattifies and refines pores and leaves a natural, seamless finish. Ideal for normal to oily skin, our exclusive formula with micro-powders controls shine and blurs pores. Leaves a natural, seamless finish. Dermatologist tested. Allergy tested. Non-comedogenic.”
How to Apply Maybelline Fit Me foundation Sun Beige 310:
“Apply foundation onto skin and blend with fingertips or an applicator and blend.”
There are 6 shades for Maybelline Fit Me foundation that has been launched in India –
(going from lightest to darkest, NOT RACIST)
This shade is for very fair skin tone with very prominent pink undertones. This shade I feel won;t suit many Indian skin tones as very few Indians have this sort of a cool undertone.
- Warm Nude:
Warm Nude is for very fair skin tones but with yellow undertones. This can be a match for the all the fair ladies out there.
- Natural Buff:
This shade is for fair to slightly medium skin tones. This can be a good match for a large number of ladies.
- Sun Beige:
This is for medium skin tones and I feel is the perfect match for most Indian skin tones, including me!
- Warm Honey:
This is for wheatish skin tones. This can also go with some dusky beauties.
- Toffee Caramel:
This is for all the dusky beauties in the county. This is for dusky to deeper skin tones.
The Maybelline Fit Me foundation comes in a glass bottle with a black cap that looks really decent and elegant. But I find several issues with the packaging. Let me tell you guys one by one. First, the bottle is made up of glass which is really risky to carry while travelling. Secondly. no pump is there to dispense the product which leads to wastage, messy cap and also a time consumption when I am in hurry. Thirdly, no important information is mentioned on the packaging like ingredients and shell life. The price and everything is mentioned on a sticker and if that sticker is gone, you are blank! Umm, I am not too happy with the packaging considering that this is a 500 INR above product. This is the same problem for Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation but there is a big price difference between the two, so what is acceptable there is not imagined here.
Very smooth and easy to apply. It is extremely light weight and is a little on the thicker side. This foundation is definitely not heavy on the skin and you feel like nothing is there on your skin.
Medium to high coverage and is buildable. This is the perfect coverage for everyday use. It makes the skin look flawless.
Staying power is around 7-8 hours for normal skin and 5-6 hours for oily skin.
All skin types especially normal to oily skin. But I have dry skin and it suits me too!
No, it doesn’t crease.
Yes, it is waterproof.
Yes, it is sweat proof but not fully.
How I feel about Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Sun Beige 310:
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in the shade Sun Beige 310 is a very suitable foundation for regular use. This foundation doesn’t make my skin dry unlike other “matte foundations”. This foundation gives the perfect coverage that I need and looks really well on my skin. It matches my skin tone perfectly and I can really vouch at last that I have found my perfect matching foundation.
I apply this foundation with my beauty blender and trust me, it gives me seamless look as if I am just perfect, which I’m not! 😛 This foundation is a perfect option for those who have open pores issue. Though I don’t have such an issue, many of my friends rave that it really makes the face look poreless, thus standing by the claims.
This foundation comes in 6 different shades which though I feel, should have been more but matches most of the Indian skin tones. This foundation can be an occasional wear too as it makes the skin look matte throughout.
Overall, for me, this gets a big thumbs up! I love this baby right in front of me right now and it has surely secured a place among my Holy Grail Makeup items!
Recommendation and repurchase:
Yes, I will recommend this baby to all my readers and of course to me too as I am definitely repurchasing this Maybelline Fit me Foundation in the shade Sun Beige 310.
